A mural artist creates the perfect addition to a garden that helps to feed a neighborhood
glad Monday GPODers !
We ’re come real artsy today with a submission from Tracy Lewis in Denver , Colorado . Tracy has been grow vegetables in her garden for several years now , producing enough to feed in her family and help out some neighbors , an impressive and interesting garden in and of itself , but the add-on of a fabulous garden - theme wall painting is what really brought the space to another level :
After having work up and 8 elevate garden bed at the begin of COVID and adding a few beehive 2 age later , our garden has amassed enough food to feed us and some neighbors from May through October here in Denver . I felt like there was something miss with our arrant whitened house as the backdrop to the north while the rest was surround by green trees and grasses . So I asked an artist if he ’d consider painting the side of our house and perhaps adorn it with some of my favorite flowers so I could see them twelvemonth round . Matt Kressobliged me and made an homage to my peony AND my bees !

A wide aspect of the garden collapse a glance at all the growing and relish that happens here . run-in of put forward bottom means there is plenteous elbow room for all sort of edibles , but wide-eyed gravel paths make lots of sphere to walk , explore and pleasure in the outer space .
I utterly adore that Tracy includes disingenuous touches all throughout the place . Understandably , veggie garden can sometimes be regard and design around utility , not always getting the originative pinch that are all so coarse in ornamental layer . But just because a space is working heavily , does n’t think of it ca n’t be fun , too .
Even Tracy ’s beehive are colorful and creative ! The “ Honey , I ’m home ” preindication on the bottom is such a clever and cute touch .

A perfect soma for a beautiful composition of art , plants !
I ca n’t even think this space with a clean bloodless wall ! I could n’t agree with Tracy more that this art was exactly what this space was missing . And a very funky garden bench allows you to posture and pass as much clip as you involve take it all in .
Though an exceedingly productive garden quad , Tracy still left some room for classic ornamentals . The pink peonies that prompt Matt ’s artwork taking centre degree and beam in the Colorado Dominicus .

in conclusion , blue delphiniums adding pops of cooling gentle to the landscape , with the incredible Mexican valium entrance to the garden behind .
give thanks you for sharing your inspiring garden and it ’s incredible artwork with us , Tracy !
