After a number of years of disuse , the power saw may be difficult to set off or it may run badly , most likely due to varnish deposits inside the carburettor . The only solution at that point is to rebuild the carburetor .
Step 1
Remove the nut on the top of the saw holding the air filter cover in topographic point . Remove the air filter top and line filter .
Step 2
Disconnect the throttle linkage and choke gene linkage from the carburetor . unplug the fuel line . If the fuel tank is not empty or near - empty , pinch the loose fuel line close with a minuscule time .

Step 6
take out the pin retaining piece of ass with the flathead screwdriver , then off the pin , ascendency lever , spring and inlet needle .
Step 7
Remove the high and idle swiftness mixture piece of ass and springs from the side of the carburetor using the flathead screwdriver .
Step 8
cleanse the carburetor eubstance exhaustively with carburetor cleanser and then spray the body thoroughly with compressed air .
Step 9
Reinstall the high and wild speed mixture screws and bound . Lightly sit down the needles then back them out one full turn .
Step 10
deploy the new inlet needle and restraint lever tumbler , along with the honest-to-goodness spring and thole . add the pin retaining screw .
Step 11
add the new main diaphragm gasket and diaphragm . supersede the main diaphragm cover and reinstall the diaphragm cover screws .
Step 12
On the pump diaphragm side , add the newfangled filtering screen . set up the new pump pessary and diaphragm gasket . supersede the pump diaphragm screen and reinstall the diaphragm cover prison guard .
Step 13
interchange the front and rearward gasket on the carburetor and then reinstall the carburettor . check that to tighten the carburetor mounting screws .
Step 14
Reconnect the accelerator pedal and choke linkage and reattach the fuel occupation , removing the cartridge clip if you used one . Replace the air travel filter , melodic phrase filter cover and air filter cover nut .
