I do n’t know where I got this land affair cause I rise up in a metropolis but I really love having a mini farm or as I say a ‘ artisan farm ’ on the edge of town . Four years of detrition , fall behind 8 animal ( all but 2 were geriatric—1 horse ( colic ) , 3 dogs ( old age ) , 2 goats ( old age ) and 1 CT ( former eld ) and 1 more goat ( bloat ) is sad enough . Two young baby goaties have been add together to the barn . They are about 1 - class - previous bringing our amount to 4 laughingstock . It feels salutary to build up up the farm again . Nothing bad than an half - empty barn .
The other two are Bella Rosa and Hunwee , the 3 - year - honest-to-goodness African goaties .
The newfangled goaties pictured above look like baby cervid or antelope to me with their marvellous skinny leg and fine bone . They are a hybridisation between a Lamacha goat and another goat - father unknown . Pumpkin is a orangy - brown and Iris is tri - colour with predominately black white marking . Iris has a facial expression like , well an iris . They are build very different from the short squatty African goaties .
Pumpkin likes to support in the food bowl while she eat . I ’ve even fascinate her catch some Z’s in the nutrient bowlful but did n’t have my iphone at the sentence to take a pic .
In fact Pumpkin like to deplete all the time . Soon she will outweigh Bella Rosa !
Iris has a marking on her face that remind me of an flag . I call back she is very beautiful . Notice her very small elf - like ears which are a Lamacha goat trait . Very different from the large African stooge ear .
She is the most shy of the two new goaties and cries if separated from Pumpkin even if only for a consequence . They are sis and are inseparable .
Here are all the girls together . The white goat in the background is Hunwee , next is Bella Rosa with the big bat capitulum ( she is all sinister except for the most gorgeous white teeth ! ) In the foreground are the two young baby sister goaties , Iris and then in front of her is Pumpkin .
